Technology Lesson - Kill or Cure? Conflict and Cooperation in the French & Indian War

Students will research, read, interpret, and evaluate primary and secondary sources on the French and Indian War in order to understand how the new technologies – the coveted trade goods of the French and English – affected the lifestyle of the Northeast Native Americans in the 1700's and how that lifestyle created a dependency between the two European cultures and the Native American Indians. This lesson uses primary sources to show trade goods and changing technology.
